Spam: Job Posting Scams

As many people know as myself that searching for a job is hard, now that technology has advanced and people have become crafty with their scamming schemes they have been able to make it seems as convincing and easy to find a job. I have gotten offers in which I thought they were legit and would provide me with a job. Online job posting provides easier access for the employer to find candidates for there positions. This not only saves time from unecessary interviews it make its easier to narrow down one candidate for a position due to it being easy to pull exactly what they want.

Here is a picture I was sent from a member.
Mind you when you get an e-mail back replying to an application you have just filled out saying you have been selected as a candidate....BUT!!! You must go to this website, or fax this and send us money. People keep in mind when applying for a job you should never have to pay to be hired, nor should you have to fax anything to anyone. You shouldn't have to cash a check in order to do secret shopping and then send money back

This is a scam in which you cash the check it is credited but it is still processing, meaning the bank will give you a amount of the check and process the rest to make sure its available from the account. Once the bank processes your fradulent check your account is then charged back the money they gave you in which most people spend or they send the FBI to your door in regards to the check.

The best thing to do people is do research before you give any of your information to anyone. I have ran into popular websites such as Monster,Indeed, Snagajob and also Craigslist. There are are millions of other employement websites in which scams are posted as job positions. Such as work from home or become a secret shopper.

More than likely these are scams, I'll post some of the ones I have in my E-Mail to help you understand this better, I wish there was a way to report these somewhere and if I find out I will post more information but its best to keep your personal information as safe as possible.
