Corrupt Computer Repair Techs

So last night for kicks and giggles I amused Craigslist, which as many of you know this is a website in which people sell, barter and communicate in their local cities for services or items. I browsed through some of the listings on Craigslist to find out that there are a lot of shady computer tech wannabes in my city! I also have clientele in which they expressed how they have been schemed, finagled, and cheated of money for software that is only valid for a brief period of time, (this being due to vendors patching the cracks that are only temporarily working).

I have a conversation I had with one of them in which they were ignorant enough to feed into because they are unaware of the potential risks associated with using pirated software, I as many as other computer technicians can vouch that it is a easy process to do but to push it forward towards those that unknowingly want a cheaper solution to high software prices is just ignorant. In fact you can land yourself in jail as well as getting a nifty fine for violation of software vendors software policies.

Anyways in a sense, I ask you where can you get any software you want for $40.00? I know no place on earth in which vendors are cutting or half selling prices to send technicians to peoples houses to install it... The company I work for doesn't even allow us to work on pirated software or operating systems.
