I've been working on computer for awhile now and it seems as if people think that too much is enough. In terms with this, sometimes too much is bad for computers. A personal computer should only have one program designated for virus protection. Having multiple virus protection programs can slow your computer down and it can cause alot of problems with memory management.
Having multiple virus protection programs can be related to having too much gas in a car. In terms to this your car has to carry all of the gas and in return you lose out on gas mileage and other problems you may run into with the extra weight of the extra gas. One program is enough when it comes to virus protection, this in return can be related to firewalls.
Virus Protection programs themselve are responsible for searching background processes and making sure no malicious files are implemented into the computer natural running background. When you have three of them this is increased and it uses more memory then normal which can cause system performance issues. Virus protection itself uses memory all the time to make sure your computer is safe if you multiply that by more than one you run into the programs using too much memory that you need for running everyday programs.

| Too much security causes more loading times, and takes your computer a while to give you access to a specific file or program. |
