Watch out for Free Movie Websites

(Illustration of Malware

I know I have not posted in awhile but I have been busy. I have been promoted and have also been solid with work as well as saving for future ventures in life. I came today to post about what most people fail to realize about the free movie websites that offer the latest movies, usually in bootleg quality but online free. Most people fail to realize the amount of advertisements, pop ups and scripts that are maliciously running in the background while they are trying to close them all. Most can properly block them using Ad Block software from the Google Chrome Store as an add on's or extension.

Sometimes people accidentally fall into the traps of the websites and follow the instructions to get their free movies, and fall for the trap of downloading certain applications such as Conduit and PC Optimizer in the Regular installs instead of choosing Optional Install and exuding the Ad-ware from being installed. And then in most cases all of the downloading is for another pain in the neck of more Ad-ware. The best thing to practice is if "you didn't open it" then "close it". This will stop most lures into the traps of downloading any Ad-ware as well as keep you Malware free.

Some Malware also disguises itself to look generic as this one to the left shows what appears to be a Microsoft Security Essential Control Panel but shows a bunch of Infections as well as you can see how the fraud is determined because of the added toolbar at the top right corner.

There are also some very nice freeware tools that are available on the internet for those of you having issues with Malware. Check out Malwarebytes free software used to clean up Malware infections.  Also Beepingcomputer.com has freeware tools that can help assist in removing a lot of Junkware and Malware programs from your computer.
